Adam Wedd will be joining us 18th March for The Coffee House Sessions Tour…
” Great music for me joins the dots, providing the soundtrack for a generation , bursting with passion, audacious enough to believe they can love the hell out of a broken world to make it whole.” – Adam Wedd
The 7th artist to hit the road this term is London-based singer-songwriter, Adam Wedd. In the past, Adam has worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Bastille’s Chris Wood and Status Quo’s frontman, Francis Rossi. Releasing his debut EP in 2013 through his own independent label, ‘Pensive Pop’, Adam saw his music being used across a variety of platforms, including for hit television drama, ‘Hollyoaks’. Both 2013′s ‘ People, Places, Things’ and 2014′s ‘Cathedrals’ and ‘Words Build Worlds’ EPs have achieved immense support from the BBC and Adam has had a variety of features on BBC 6′s New Music Mixtape. This year, Adam will be releasing his fourth EP alongside embarking on the Coffee House Sessions!
There’s a wonderful authenticity to Adam’s sound; utilising up beat melodies that often includes the likes of a double bass, organ and the occasional tuba, gives a great life and warmth to the music. Adam Wedd is a brilliant mix of the classic folk artist and the modern singer-songwriter, with an ability to convey both the traditional and current everyday tales through his distinctive tone and intuitive lyrics.
